The Lynnfield Firefighters Relief Association

is a fraternal organization set up under the laws of the MA Division of Insurance for the benefit of the members of the Lynnfield Fire Department. Incorporated in August of 1966, the Association has served the fire department for over 40 years. The primary objective was to provide a death benefit for its members.Today the association provides it's members with a $ 1500.00 death benefit, over $ 25,000.00 in on the job death benefits and a disability benefit in the event of an on the job injury.Currently the association has over 40 active and retired members who enjoy many social events including co sponsoring the annual MAFAA Fire Apparatus parade show & firematic flea market.

WOULD LIKE TO CONGRATULATE ASSISTANT. CHIEF JOHN WALSH ON HIS APPOINTMENT TO ASSISTANT. CHIEF OF THE LYNNFIELD FIRE DEPT. EFFECTIVE MARCH, 2011. THE ASSOCIATION OFFERS IT SUPPORT AND WISH HIM SUCCESS IN HIS FUTURE ENDEAVORS AS ASSISTANT CHIEF.

WOULD LIKE TO OFFER BEST WISHES TO RECENTLY RETIRED DEPUTY CHIEF FRANCIS LENNON. DEPUTY LENNON SERVED AS A MEMBER OF THE DEPARTMENT FOR OVER 40 YEARS. HIS SERVICES WERE A VALUABLE ASSET TO THE LYNNFIELD FIRE DEPARTMENT AND THEY WILL BE GREATLY MISSED. THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK!!
