The Lynnfield Firefighters Relief Association

is a fraternal organization set up under the laws of the MA Division of Insurance for the benefit of the members of the Lynnfield Fire Department. Incorporated in August of 1966, the Association has served the fire department for over 40 years. The primary objective was to provide a death benefit for its members.Today the association provides it's members with a $ 1500.00 death benefit, over $ 25,000.00 in on the job death benefits and a disability benefit in the event of an on the job injury.Currently the association has over 40 active and retired members who enjoy many social events including co sponsoring the annual MAFAA Fire Apparatus parade show & firematic flea market.

                           ANNOUNCES THE RETIREMENT OF
                                   CHIEF PAUL N. ROMANO
                               LYNNFIELD FIRE DEPARTMENT
                                   EFFECTIVE 31 JULY 2009.
CHIEF ROMANO HAS SERVED THIS DEPARTMENT FOR THIRTY YEARS AND WILL BE PROFOUNDLY MISSED BY ALL ITS MEMBERS. PLEASE JOIN US IN WISHING CHIEF ROMANO A LONG, HEALTHY, HAPPY, AND FULFILLING RETIREMENT
  THE RELIEF ASSOCIATION WOULD ALSO LIKE TO CONGRATULATE CHIEF FRANCIS LENNON ON HIS APPOINTMENT TO INTERIM CHIEF. THE RELIEF ASSOCIATION OFFERS IT'S SUPPORT TO THE NEW CHIEF IN HIS NEW ENDEAVOR.
The Lynnfield Firefighters' Relief Association and the Wakefield Firemen's Relief Association gratefully acknowledge the combined donations totalling $ 697.00 which were collected in the "Boot Drive" for Muscular Dystrophy at the Muster.
